The case is fine enough to protect the device. There is space for the Pencil and the magnets work as expected to hold the iPad in place. There is a fault however, and likely due to the rush to get this to market. As other’s have said; the sleep/wake function doesn’t work. When I contacted them about this, ESR are aware and apparently have an updated product coming end of June. They provided me with some options considering the fault, so suggest others with this case contact them via their website. It would be great if ESR could update this listing, or remove the item from sale until it is corrected.Case is a 4/5, however the lack of transparency on the fault makes it at best a 3/5.

Excellent screen protector! Going forward this is the only one I will use for all my toys.

The reusable installation tray (you get two screen protectors, but one alignment tray) makes it super easy to install. Clarity of the glass is excellent with no coloring of the image. The only criticism I have is that the screen is not coated and is much more reflective than the (standard glass) screen of the bare iPad. To be fair to the company, they do not make any claims about anti-reflective coatings.PRO TIP: use a strong flashlight and shine it laterally over the surface of the screen to highlight any dust specks just before lowering the protector on the surface of your iPad.

If you are careful about your iPad, just purchase this without looking anywhere else.Looks great, have strong Magnets, perfect fit, its lightweight and will help you keeping your Apple Pencil in place. If you dont use an Apple Pencil it still looks good! However… your are careless / clumsy like me… look for de 360 rebound case from the same brand which has protected my iPad from a couple of falls that I was too afraid to look.NOTE: I will not rate this product durability until I have used until a couple of months

satisfied with both products I got what I expect.

Just got this today and it’s already leagues above my old screen protector covered in bubbles and peeling within minutes. I was having a lot of trouble with my Apple pen registering and this protector fixed it! It registers touch easily even with the magnetic protector on top

There are many things to love about this case, but it’s honestly a disappointment. Let’s start with the positives. The finish is excellent, with a kind of rubberized eggshell satin feel that feels very good to the touch and doesn’t excessively attract fingerprints. The magnets are also adequately strong and securely hold the iPad in place. The inner section is also very good and doesn’t leave any marks on your iPad screen. Overall, it feels very OEM and is a very good value compared to Apple’s folio case. However, there are some significant flaws that are problematic. The first issue is with the folding part of the case. Specifically, there don’t appear to be any magnets to help it stay in place when folded up—just gravity. So, if you lift it up, the base hangs down and collapses when you place it back on a surface. The second issue concerns the Magic Pencil. The case holds the pencil securely in place, but only if it’s placed while the front cover is open. If it’s placed while closed, the magnets won’t make a secure connection, leading to the pencil getting knocked off the next time the front cover is opened. This is because the edge of the case protrudes just enough to prevent a secure connection. It’s most intuitive for me to close the cover, place the pen, and then the flap when closing up the case, but because of this issue, you have to first place the pen, then close the cover and flap. This same issue prevents USB accessories from sitting flush against the iPad, forcing users to remove the magnetic back before putting it back after the device is installed.Overall, this is a great folio case, but not on the level of Apple’s.
