Connecting your Bluetooth keyboard to your iPad

1Open the case to the preset stand angle.

2Magnetically attach your caseless iPad to the stand.

3Switch the keyboard ON using the switch on the right side.

4Press and hold   for 3 seconds.

On your iPad, navigate to Settings > Bluetooth > Other Devices, then select “ESR KEY 6B004”  and connect.

Confirm your iPad is one of the following:
iPad Pro 12.9” 5th Generation (2021)
iPad Pro 12.9” 4th Generation (2020)
iPad Pro 12.9” 3rd Generation (2018)

Use the included charging cable to fully charge the Bluetooth keyboard.

Turn the keyboard off and wait 10 seconds before turning it back on.

If the problem persists, unpair the keyboard by going to Settings > Bluetooth > Device List > “ESR KEY 6B004” and tap, then choose “Forget This Device”. Follow the Bluetooth pairing instructions to reconnect your keyboard.
Can my Bluetooth keyboard charge my iPad?
No, the keyboard does not support power output. To charge your keyboard, connect the included cable to the USB-C charging port.
Why won’t my iPad stay attached to the keyboard case?
Confirm your iPad is one of the following:
iPad Pro 12.9” 5th Generation (2021)
iPad Pro 12.9” 4th Generation (2020)
iPad Pro 12.9” 3rd Generation (2018)
This keyboard case is designed to work with a caseless iPad, using an additional case will interfere with magnetic attachment.
Do not use your iPad vertically with this Bluetooth keyboard case.
Taking care of your keyboard case
Wipe it down with cloth to prevent dust buildup.
Turn it off when not in use to prolong battery life.
Avoid contact with liquids or humid environments.
If your keyboard case comes into contact with liquid, stop using it immediately.
Customizing the color and brightness of the backlit keys
Press   to select the backlight brightness (bright, medium, low, off).
Press   to select the backlight color (7 colors).
Why doesn’t the trackpad work when I tap on it?
The Tap to Click feature is disabled by default on iPad.
To enable Tap to Click on your iPad, go to Settings > General > Trackpad > Turn on Tap to Click.
Why is the trackpad/iPad touchscreen unresponsive?
Upgrading iPadOS may lead to a software conflict between AssistiveTouch and the trackpad.
To disable AssistiveTouch, go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch > Turn off AssistiveTouch.
