I did not use this mount exactly the way that it was meant to be used – I did not use the suction cup mount. So I can not review that portion of the product. I took the suction cup mount and arm off and used the ball mount to attach to a Proclip USA Center Dash Mount custom made for my car. Highly recommend ProClip USA btw! Once installed to the ProClip mount my phone attached with a strong magnetic grip and immediately gave the iOS MagSafe circle charging graphic. So we know it is MagSafe certified. It charges about as fast as most MagSafe chargers. That is – fairly slowly. But until the new wireless chargers supporting the iPhone 16 faster charging rates come out, that’s what you get. Slow and steady. Overall it’s a great charging mount. Strong magnet. And it looks good when the phone is not on it.

The mount is too weak. Weight of the phone causes the mount to rotate when you hit the smallest of bumps or take a corner. Great idea. Poor engineering.

As someone who uses ESR products I can safely say that once again, ESR does things right. The magnet strength on this MagSafe car mount is very impressive. They also are one of the few brands (the 1st that I’ve seen) that have USB type C on both ends of the cable for the car. Cord length is as much as I need. I have a ton of USB-C cords so I can always find the right length but the one that it comes with works just fine. It’s simple to install and the charging speeds are exactly as it says and it’s always a pleasure knowing I’m using an ESR product. The adjustability of the mount is very nice, it can get into about any position you may need. The stability of the holder is also great because it doesn’t shake at all, and I hate when things have movement to them. It’s annoying as can be! Also it’s a metal design so I expect nothing less. ESR makes great products and this is just another example of it. ESR for the win again! It’s a common occurrence and if you haven’t experienced ESR products, please do yourself a favor and try them out. You won’t be disappointed & you can thank me later! 😉

I ordered this wireless charger for my car. The install was quick and easy. All you do is clean the spot on the dash where you want to place it, remove the paper covering the adhesive, and apply with pressure. It comes with a charging cable but no car adapter. That you have to buy on your own. It works very well and gives a very good charge in just a few minutes. It is now my favorite feature in my car.

I have been an ESR fan for a long time. I can always depend on them. They are consistent and innovative in almost everything – chargers, screen protectors, iPad cases – even iPhone cases.But when it comes to chargers specifically, I am always impressed. I had an older version of this one in my car and loved it, so when I saw an upgraded version that would charge at a faster rate, I was all in. And I was initially skeptical because I have seen a lot of underdelivering products when it comes to mobile charging.The best was I could keep my same mount – it uses the same ball size as this charger, and since it has been sturdy and working well, I have not wanted to switch. Why fix what ain’t broke! And the magnets were strong before. This time, even stronger. If you have a case with a good magnet set in it, the phone might be tough to get off when stopped. I have not had this even move going over some rough back roads – and when you have potholes the size we do here – stuff is bound to fall or come loose. Not with this!Plugging it in is a snap—again, the same Type-C connector. The charging is blazing for an inductive mobile Qi charger! I put it through a few tests. I wanted to see how fast this charger was going to get me to 20% when my phone was down at 5% and what the heat would be like from that type of charging would be. We all know heat kills these batteries, so the cooler we can keep it, the longer the battery life.From 5 to 10%, it started off slow. I wondered if I was watching it and hoping or if I had a bad unit. But then the numbers started rising—fast. I looked away, and 5% more was added. I looked back, and I was at 35%! WHAT!! So I pulled the phone off. It was warm—not hot, but warm like I would expect from it being plugged in and charging. And it was in a car with the sun hitting it.So, is this a win? Absolutely! I am very impressed with ESR and the product they produce; again, this is another must-have!

I recently purchased the ESR Qi2 MagSafe Car Mount Charger, and I’m very satisfied with its performance! The installation was a breeze, and it securely attaches to my dashboard without any wobbling. The magnetic connection is strong, holding my iPhone in place even on bumpy roads, which is a huge plus. I love that it charges quickly at 15W, so I don’t have to worry about my phone running low while driving. The adjustable base allows for the perfect viewing angle, making it easy to use GPS. If you’re in need of a reliable and efficient car charger, I definitely recommend this one!

I have a work car that I needed a charger installed in and also to be able to have my phone easily accessible when I’m driving. This one works really well. The adhesiveness of its stock well to the console dashboard area of my vehicle and the cord reached far enough to get to the cigarette lighter adapter to power the device. The magnet and the adjustability of it are excellent, and it holds excellently well. So I love that it both holds my phone where I wanted to without any movement and is really stout in that regard, and also that it’s plugged in and quickly charges my phone for me when I’m driving. It’s kind of the best of both worlds. We’ve had a few of these and I will say so far this is the best one that I voted. It is a little bit pricey I think for what you get, but then again I think all of these are kind of pricey this day so maybe I’m off base there, but I would definitely pay it again after knowing the quality and the functionality of this comes with because I think it’s that good. Definitely a five star rating for me

It is nice, but after following the instructions for attaching the charger, it fell off within 2 days. It’s nice that it is able to move, but it doesn’t move as well as I would hope. It was nice to not have it over a vent, but I would not recommend.
