I have been using the magsafe phone mount for the past 2 months. Design wise it is great – highly adjustable and the magnet is strong. Sadly it the fastening plastic ring suddenly broke in the middle of a ride (no offroad or something of that sort) and now I cannot use the mount anymore – the phone is facing downwards.I have contacted ESR a couple of days ago but no response yet. They promise a 24 hour max until initial response.An Update – ESR have reached out and are sending a replacement part.To summarize – It is a good product from the functional perspective. I hope that this issue was a one time thing but it is good also to know that ESR stand behind their warranty

I bought this for my 1999 4runner and initially stuck it to my dash. Big mistake – I failed to recognize that my dash is ever so slightly padded, like a (barely) soft touch vinyl. That allowed the mount to move up and down and I knew it’d drive me nuts going down the road to have my phone jittering.So, 30 seconds after attaching it I decided windshield was the only option. It took significant effort to remove, but it’s been on my windshield for a couple of months and I have no issues. Holds my iPhone 15 Pro firmly and doesn’t fight me when I try to remove my phone (you have to tighten the head of the unit once you figure out the angle you want it.) I live in a typically mild climate so this has been firmly stuck to my windshield with interior temps over 110*F and down to 20*F more recently this winter. No problems!Be smart when mounting it so you don’t have to re-do!

This mount is great. It’s got a very secure mount on the dash, and the magnet is ridiculously good with my MagSafe case. My phone definitely stays put. The only thing I’d change is adding power to it, but that is very minor to me.
