No, a power adapter is not included. When selecting a power adapter, make sure to use a 5V 2A\9V 1.5A fast charging adapter.
All wireless charging produces some level of heat, especially if you are performing CPU-intensive activities on your phone, such as gaming or watching videos, while charging. To avoid overheating, be sure to remove any metal attachments between your phone and the wireless charger during charging.
Apple limits third-party wireless chargers to 7.5W, which means wireless chargers from any brand besides Apple are limited to 7.5W. The MagSafe animation is only shown when officially certified Apple chargers are attached.

Love this charger. Snaps right on, stays well but is not difficult to take off. Great that it comes with the usb adapter. Cord is a good length.

Love this wireless charger, but it does get hot (as other reviewers have stated). When I place my phone on it to charge I turn it so the puck is up and getting air flow to it and that seems to help. It works well and charges my 16 pro max pretty fast.

charges and holds the phone even with a quadlock case , but gets extremely hot ( phone overheats when you charge from 20 to 100 percent)
