No. The cover only magnetically attaches to the back case. It does not attach directly to a caseless iPad.

BEST IPAD CASE. As a graphic artist, it’s just super versatile. The stability of the case is amazing with the magnets that hold strong. There are many notches that hold the ipad in place at any viewing angle. There are two places to stick my apple pencil— on top of the case and the gartered pocket on the outside which has not stretched. And i really enjoy how it can hold the ipad in an elevated step too which makes for less strain on my neck looking down when the ipad is resting on a table. The materials are top notch in that there are no cracking or peeling (i have owned this case for 3 years now). get this case for your ipad!

I have been using the cover for 2 weeks and it’s the best case I have purchased. I like how the magnet is strong enough to view in portrait and landscape mode. The next plus is being able to take the cover off which makes my iPad much lighter in my hands for reading etc.

I just received the case today and was excited. I love that the case detaches and has different ways to adjust the stand. It wasn’t as heavy as others made it seem like, I’ve used heavier ones. However I found that the Apple pencil doesn’t charge when placed to the side of the case where the indent goes (not talking about the slot on the back for it). I tried adjusting it multiple ways with no luck, if I want to charge my pencil I have to remove the case, which I do not want to do multiple times a day. The case is hard to put on and even harder to remove. I will not be using this since the pencil won’t charge.

Very practical and looks really beautiful, feels amazing, the magnets are in perfect place where they don’t mess with anything and just fits on snuggly with the iPad!Will recommend this product if you want to protect your iPad but also want it to look good as well as want better use out of your case!
