Yes, magnets in the back case line up with magnets in the cover to allow you to securely snap the case into place, providing a stable stand in raised screen view, landscape, and portrait modes during use.
To connect to Bluetooth, first press Fn + B for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. Once in pairing mode, go to Settings > Bluetooth > Other Devices > Connect to “ESR Keyboard”. Check out the video for full instructions on connecting your keyboard.

When the trackpad is not responding, you have to disable AssistiveTouch. To disable, go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch > Turn off “AssistiveTouch”.

I purchased the folio keyboard for my 13 inch iPad Pro. The size is perfect for the machine, and feels like a properly sized laptop keyboard. My uses are very writing intensive, and the few weeks i have had with this have been a wonder and surprise; i did not think i would be purchasing as quality a keyboard as i had, and am incredibly happy to write on this keyboard even in comparison to USB keyboards i have. THe build is of a very high quality, and the chassis will not slip on whatever surface you keep it on. The battery life is great, i have just kept it plugged in for a fraction of the time i keep the iPad charged, and the battery lasts as long as i realistically need. I have not noticed any egregious lag, in fact the keyboard is quite quick to response even in comparison to other bluetooth keyboards i have used. The Keys all work and have as many commands as you realistically need for an iPad, with many backlighting options to customize. Though there are more protective options out there, there is a quality case that is used to connect to the folio that is itself protective, and the folio provides many angles of protection if the iPad is dropped while closed. Some have complained of their apple pencils falling out; given this, i preemptively ordered a separate pouch for the pencil, however, i have not actually needed to use it; not only is the magnetic connector strong even through the case, but the magnetic strap the encloses the folio also adds tension to keep the pen in place. The product is also easy to use and connect, with a simple pairing being all that is needed before you can turn on the keyboard having already connected the keyboard. Lastly, i am happy with the matte option. I was worried about seeing accumulated grease on my device, and while this does happen, i am happy with the grip that the matte provides my palms while typing.

Hey there! I was on the hunt for a case that would protect my iPad alone, and I found the perfect one! It got a perfect 5-star rating. The keyboard is super comfortable, way better than the original one. The trackpad is also great, not as good as the original, but still top-notch for the price!

I bought this because I have an m4 Mac mini. I wanted to turn my iPad into a touch screen laptop, but for a laptop, you need a working keyboard and mouse, among other things. I had tested several keyboards that didn’t work.. or the keyboard and touch pad worked.. but the iPad didn’t connect to magnets because of not being compatible… WELL this one worked, iPad connects to the case, I don’t like cases for my iPad.. which I was worried i wouldn’t be able to use this without the iPad case?! BUT I WAS!! AND IT ALSO WORKS WITH THE M4 MAC MINI! so it check marked all three boxes for me.. so I am really happy! It also comes in some very cool colors. I really like the blue color, and the keyboard keys lighting up is very cool too! The only thing odd about this thing, was, it smelled kind weird out of the box?.. not sure why? Also if this breaks really easy.. or have heinous product defects.. I’ll be sure to update my review and the stats accordingly.

This is a great alternative to a much more expensive brand item. It is very well made, and works great. It is a full size keyboard with a trackpad. The inner case helps protect my iPad when I want to remove it from the keyboard. I also like that it has a magnetic flap to keep my pencil safe.I have a great number of ESR products, for my iPad and 3 iPhones. ESR has some great products at a very affordable price. Out of the couple of dozen products that I have, I have one small gripe- this product ships with a cable that is USB-A to USB-C. It needs to be USB-C on both ends. I mean come on, most new charging blocks are USB-C
