The case is great—very durable, and the locking mechanism is a smart feature that keeps the top from opening accidentally, preventing an AirPod from falling out. However, I ran into an issue where the locking mechanism seems to interfere with the AirPods’ ability to detect when the case is opening, which caused connection problems. It took me a few weeks to figure out the source of the problem, but once I did, it became clear that this feature, while helpful, can disrupt functionality. If this gets resolved, it would be a near-perfect case!
