I gave my original AirPods to my granddaughter and bought myself new AirPods Pro2. I wanted a case that allowed me to hang them on a belt loop or just throw into a pocket, bag or rucksack. I’ve used ESR cases before and chose this one. A little dearer than some but it’s worth it. The case itself gives good protection and the catch for the lid is secure. I don’t see it ever opening by accident.I’ve got plenty of small carabiners to hook kit onto bags; the one with this case is plastic, not metal, but feels sturdy enough for the job; the spring feels just right, too – enough to avoid inadvertent release but easy to unclip one-handed when needed. A small feature that makes it more useable as EDC, although I’ll probably put on a stronger clip if I need to carry it on the outside of my rucksack.

The ESR AirPods Pro case is exceptionally sturdy. The magnets are strong, keeping the lid securely closed, especially during falls. Protecting your investment is crucial. While the magnets may be powerful, I encounter issues with the AirPods charging. After using the case for a week, I noticed that my AirPods were not charging when placed inside, which also reflected on the charging icon of my iPhone. Recently, I had the case open, and by pushing the lock mechanism on the case and moving it back, the charge would fluctuate when I held the latch in an open position. The AirPod earbud charging icon fluctuated as well and then returned to normal once the latch was released. I’m not sure if the magnets are too strong, but this is the problem because I’m not sure if any damage may be done to the AirPods as a result. If anyone experiences this, please let me know.

The case is terrific and keeps the AirPods firmly sealed so even dropping them from heights does not cause the lid to open and the AirPods to scatter.Very sturdy and provides great protection.
