Good case protects iPad well. But the magnets are not as strong as they claim. When I set it to stand the magnets next to the camera don’t hold very well. Constantly having to reconnect the back to the iPad

I really love this iPad case. I no longer need a wire stand when I use my iPad in the portrait position. However, there is one flaw. I can’t get my Apple pencil to charge on it. It stays on magnetically but does not charge. I don’t use my apple pencil often, but it would be nice to have a way to charge it when I need it. I would return it but the box it came in has been thrown out. That said, it is a very good case otherwise. If the pencil charged, it would definitely be rated a 5 star.

The build quality of this case is very good, and feels quite durable. The ability to remove the folio cover is awesome, as I like to use my iPad for drawing, and it’s much more comfortable to hold for extended periods without having the cover folded back. Snaps on and off securely and easily, with good magnets. The cover does add a substantial amount of weight overall, which is another reason why being able to remove it easily when it’s not needed is great. The weight with the cover on isn’t an issue for me, because it feels premium and adds more confidence to its’ durability.The material it’s made of has a nice smooth, satin-like texture to it, and the inside of the folio cover has a bit of a grippy texture, which really allows for nearly infinite viewing angles between the edges of the cover – it may look like there are just two available angles, given the creases where the cover folds, but I quickly found that you can set the iPad to any point on the inside cover and it holds sturdily enough for me to watch content, swipe and interface with the iPad as I normally do. It won’t go to 90 degrees, but it can get surprisingly close without falling over. There are situations where I need it to stand as straight up as possible, and this case totally works for my purposes.I bought the light blue one, and the colour of the product is as-advertised, no surprises there. There’s a nice indent in the case where the Apple Pencil mounts and charges magnetically, and there doesn’t seem to be any issue at all with the Pencil charging, or how strongly it holds to the iPad, having the case rubber in between.The case feels and looks premium, keeping the iPad feeling as premium as it is. I think the price is totally reasonable, given the quality and functionality. I was considering cheaper cases before deciding on this one, and I’m VERY glad I decided to pay a bit more and go with it. I’m impressed, and feel great about my purchase 🙂
