Yes. The detachable back case attaches magnetically to the back cover of the keyboard. It features a hard polycarbonate back, shock-absorbing flexible sides, and reinforced corners to keep your tablet safe with or without the keyboard.
No. The keyboard case is designed to be used with a caseless iPad or the included magnetic back case. It cannot be used with an iPad with another case.
Yes. The keyboard case supports landscape, portrait, and raised screen view. Strong magnets in the back cover line up with those in your iPad and back case to ensure a secure lock and a stable stand. When using your iPad in portrait or raised screen view modes, it must have the included back case on; only landscape mode supports use with a caseless iPad.
First short press right/left option + B to put the keyboard into pairing mode. Once in pairing mode, go to Settings > Bluetooth > Other Devices and connect to “ESR Keyboard”. Check out the video for full instructions on how to connect your keyboard.
Yes. Press right/left option + backlight key (in top left corner) to turn the backlight on or off and adjust the brightness level (low, medium, high).
When AssistiveTouch is enabled, it can cause the trackpad to become unresponsive. To fix this issue, disable AssistiveTouch by going to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch > Turn off “AssistiveTouch”.

But I kind of couldn’t get myself to trust its trackpad durability.Now the trackpad works perfectly with all the different finger/s functions but doesn’t feel great.Second issue I have is with its battery durability. I read few reviews saying the battery lasts months which I highly doubt based on usage. I bought this to replace carrying my laptop, so my usage was quite high. The battery drained pretty quickly. Charging the keyboard isn’t a problem but the battery’s durability is a concern as there are not enough reviews about it.But honestly this is a super product if you ignore above mentioned 2 issues (which I couldn’t shake off).Last minor thing is, it is not exactly made for iPad Air M2 11 inch.The only reason I finally decided to return it is coz I feel ESR will launch something better for my iPad in coming weeks/ months. And when they do I don’t wanna be stuck with this.

This Magic Keyboard Case for iPad Air is an excellent option to the Apple Magic Case. It functions just like the Apple product, being quick to respond to typing and touch pad and at least ½ the price. Only downside for some may be it’s a bit heavier than the Apple product because it is powered by an internal battery, not directly from the iPad as the Apple product is. But at the price, well worth it.

This keyboard is so easy to use with our iPad. It is very durable as a case and a strong magnet holds the iPad to the opposite side of the keyboard, so it can function similar to a laptop. Great buy!

i like it a lot but i’d say that it doesn’t stand still in every places. Other than that it gets dirty really fast so watch out. It is a very good product though.

Cons:- Heavier than Magic Keyboard and some of the other keyboard cases like this.- I’ve noticed a tiny bit of glitchiness with the trackpad. It seems that it’s sometimes detecting a 3-finger gesture when I use 2 fingers, and 2-finger gestures when I’m using 1 finger. I’m not sure if it’s just super sensitive or there’s another issue with the trackpad, but it’s been a minor issue for me thus far that doesn’t happen often.Pros:- Personally, I LOVE the color! I love LAVENDER, not orchid or lilac, or other pinkish light purples. It’s the right shade of pale purple without the extra pink. Perfect (for me)! :D- This comes with the matching iPad case that attaches to the keyboard as advertised. It’s nice to know that IF I drop it, there’ll be some protection against the sides getting damaged.- The keyboard case will connect automatically when the iPad is opened. Other cases will need you to touch a key or something, which, you’ll still need to do if the case went to sleep while the case wasn’t closed.- If you use the battery widget like I do, it will display the keyboard’s battery percentage! I LOVE that feature because there’s less worrying about how long I have before it runs out!- The function key options all work, and I haven’t had any problems in typing (and I type a lot!).- The iPad can be mounted in different heights and in portrait mode. One perk of the keyboard being Bluetooth instead of connected by pins (like the Magic Keyboard) is that you can still use the keyboard and trackpad in portrait mode and off-center mounted!- The case is soft and silky to the touch… I personally love that!- The skin for the iPad is thin where the stylus connects and doesn’t interfere with its charging.- The magnetic flap will magnetically stick to the back of the case and be securely out of the way. At first, it curls back over the front of the case, but sticking it magnetically to the back has made that flap less rigid and doesn’t curl forward anymore.All around, I personally love this case! The only con was that it is a bit heavier because of the added skin and that the keyboard has its own battery (versus the Magic Keyboard case which doesn’t). The trackpad’s glitchiness doesn’t occur often, but of course when it does I’m annoyed for a second.I’d highly recommend this case just for that extra iPad case on top of the keyboard. The color of the case and keyboard match each other which is another plus.On a personal note, the PERFECT case would have pins to connect and power the keyboard directly, as well as charge the iPad through the keyboard like the Magic Keyboard cases do. An innovation would be a second set of pins on the keyboard case to allow a portrait mode connection for charging and keyboard connection. That would make this the only case I’d ever need :p! But, in the meantime, this is perfect for my productivity and stylus uses with my iPad!

ESR is a very reputable supplier that has Fantastic customer support.This Magnetic Keyboard case fit my iPad Pro 11 4th Gen (2022) perfectly.I only use the extra back cover when it leaves the house, otherwise the built-in magnets hold the iPad in place very firmly . The Keyboard it a very full function board with good feel and amazing features.Why pay Apple prices when this Keyboard case is extremely adequate.

I have been looking for the perfect keyboard case for about a year, and this one checks all the boxes. I have a Magic Keyboard for my iPad Pro 4th gen, but I hate that it doesn’t offer any protection for my very expensive iPad that I invested in. The sides of the iPad are always bare and prone to being damaged with the MK. I love that this case has a case for JUST the iPad that I can take on and off. I am writing the review with this keyboard. All of the keys are very responsive, and it automatically connects when I place the iPad on it, just like the MK, except using Bluetooth. I also love that I can put the iPad in landscape position for FaceTime calls and just when I’m journaling because I like the layout better. I love the purple case, and I will more than likely grab some stickers for the back of it to personalize it. The keys are backlit, and you can change the color or the brightness if you want. Yes, the case is heavy but you know… duh. It’s got a lot going on as far as magnets and keyboard and that’s to be expected. If you purchase this case, you should not expect it to be very light lolTL;DR: This is the best keyboard case you can find that’s similar to the Magic Keyboard. Yes, it’s heavy but it’s worth it!
