I loved the iPhone 15 version of this case and had high hopes for the iPhone 16 version, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. While it still offers solid protection, there are a few design choices that detract from the overall experience.The most noticeable issue is the plastic around the cameras. On the iPhone 16 version, it’s now removable and feels noticeably cheaper compared to the previous design. Additionally, I don’t like the cutout for the new camera control button. Until case manufacturers figure out a better solution, I’ll be sticking with cases that include an actual button for the camera control rather than a cutout. So far, only Apple and a few third-party brands have managed to implement external camera control buttons effectively, and the cutout on this case just doesn’t look or feel right to me.That said, I remain a fan of ESR products overall. They usually deliver excellent value and quality, so I’m hopeful they’ll release a revised version of this case with a better approach to the camera control button and improvements to the camera plastic.For now, I’ll look elsewhere, but I’ll definitely revisit ESR in the future—they’re a great brand, and I know they’re capable of making fantastic cases and other charging products and accessories.

My iPhone 16 pro max fits perfectly in this case and it is easy to hold because of the texturing on the sides. The pink color is pretty and it works great with my magnetic iPhone charger.
