This is a relatively minimalist case for the iPhone 16 Pro Max. It’s got a neutral black color with a smooth, semi-grippy rubberized side, paired with a translucent backplate that partially shows your phone’s factory color. The camera module snaps into an enclosed bezel with cutouts for each camera item, unusual among iPhone cases which mostly just cut out the entire square camera area.I’m not sure I’m 100% in love with this, but it’s a reasonable value choice. The bump around the screen is a little much and I felt it interfered with me using the home button a little – not as much as the worst offender I tested, the Zagg case, but still more than I’d prefer. The angled "camera guard" logo on the back is eyecatching and, for better and for worse, causes your phone to stand out and look a little less like just another iPhone.If I were adjusting this case, I think I’d revise the camera module to have a standard square cutout without the angled recess, shrink the lip around the screen by a millimeter or so, and add a cutout around the camera button (as it is, the camera button is very recessed and it’s hard to operate with your finger without pushing the case instead). With those tweaks, this would be a five star case – the materials are quite nice and the construction quality is sound.

I love the color and that it’s environmentally friendly. I love buying phone cases from this company because they are really reliable and great quality. I drop my phone a lot and all of the phone cases I’ve bought from this company have held up their part and kept my phone from breaking or cracking, ( this goes for my current phone and the previous phones I had) oh and it also came with a screen protector which is great and really helpful. The only negative thing I have to say is that the color does fade quick for example I had a clear case and it turned yellow within a couple months. And i this pink one I just bought looks like it’ll start to fade the same way. But personally it doesn’t matter to me as long as it keeps my phone safe and matches my AirPod case.
